Video: MYOB Course – The Differences Between MYOB Software Versions
Breaking News & Updates
MYOB_Difference_in_versions_Part3 MYOB, the different versions, part three. So, we have shown you a few of the small and slight differences within the different versions of MYOB, and I’m just simply going to show you now two more things. The first one is in the payroll command center, because most of us usually would use this payroll command center. Notice how we’ve got all of these different functions, and in particular we’ve got the pay liabilities function and the pay superannuation function. If we now click over on the version 2012, we are again in the payroll command center. Notice how we don’t have as many options. So that is because we’ve only got a pay liabilities function, which actually includes the pay superannuation, because the superannuation is still a liability. So that’s what that is there, and the last thing I want to show you is the bank reconciliation. So if we go into the banking command center and click on Reconcile Account, this is our Reconcile Accounts screen. And what I actually want to show you is down here, these functions. So we’ll just quickly go back to the previous version, go into the banking command center and into the Reconcile Accounts function, and notice down the bottom here, we don’t have as much functions as what we do in version 2012. That is because we’ve got one actions function, and if we click on that, we have all of these functions down there. So we can actually enter our bank entries, which are our interest earned, or interest credits, et cetera. We can undo a reconciliation, et cetera. Now, if we go back to version 2012, we’ve actually got not as many options here, but we have the Undo Reconciliation button already there, as well as the bank entry already there. So they are some of the major differences within the MYOB software, or the MYOB versions. Again, the versions will do exactly the same thing. It is just getting used to the new upgrades. It’s just like when Microsoft brings out a new upgrade for Word, et cetera, there is quite a lot of getting used to it. And once you’re used to it, it’s quite simple. So that’s all about version 19, and version 2011 and later.
